Two new blocks for your pages:
- Document Scanner - scan paper documents with your camera: multiple pages, automatic edge detection, retake or delete pages, and everything lands in your page as one compact PDF;
- Sketch - draw right inside your notes with your finger or Apple Pencil. The full native tool palette (pen, pencil, marker, eraser, colors), undo/redo, and an endless scrolling canvas. Sketches adapt to light and dark themes, sync across your devices, and stay editable forever - reopen any sketch and keep drawing;
- Also in this update: sync reliability improvements, smoother block interactions, and other fixes.

Blocks, blocks, blocks - the biggest update to Unit's building blocks yet:
- Quote & Callout - turn any text into an elegant quote or a highlighted callout card, so the important lines stand out;
- Page Link - link to any page from anywhere. One tap jumps straight to it;
- Table of Contents - drop in a live outline of your page's headings and jump to any section with a tap. Updates itself as you write (Unit Plus);
- Gallery View - photos placed one after another can now flip through as a compact swipeable carousel instead of a long scroll;
- Location Notes - attach a note to your location pins;
- Plus: sync and reliability improvements, a refreshed getting-started guide, and a round of fixes and polish throughout.
2.6 7月31日 Faster iCloud Sync & iOS 26 Refinements
Faster and clearer iCloud sync, a refined iOS 26 design, and stability fixes:
- Faster iCloud Sync - your pages and structure appear right away while files download in the background, so you can keep working during a big sync;
- Live Sync Progress - a new sync indicator on the Home screen shows progress as it happens, so you always know what's going on;
- Truthful Sync Status - now shows "Not connected" when you're offline instead of a misleading "Synced", and the screen stays awake during a sync;
- Refined iOS 26 Design - polished large title, floating toolbars, and scroll-edge effects tuned for iOS 26;
- Cleaner Lists - numbered lists now use a clean monospaced style, and bullets, numbers, and toggles line up consistently;
- Fixed an issue where the screen jumped and the cursor didn't activate when adding a new block from the top of a page;
- Fixed an issue where the selection highlight glitched near the top and bottom bars;
- Fixed a couple of crashes and polished several small details.

Take your notes anywhere as Markdown, capture voice notes faster, and enjoy a more refined app throughout:
- Export to Markdown - export any page or your entire library as clean Markdown files that open in any app. Your content is always yours;
- Instant Voice Notes - hold the + button to record, release to save. Slide up to keep recording hands-free;
- Notes on Locations - add a note to any saved place ("best ice cream downtown") and see it right on the map;
- Image Zoom - pinch to zoom images right on the page, no need to open them;
- Paste Images - paste images copied from any app straight into your notes;
- Reader Mode - a cleaner way to read saved web pages, with font controls. Saved pages now skip cookie banners and ads;
- Your Text Size - Unit now follows the system text size setting;
- New Page from your Home Screen - long-press the app icon to start writing right away;
- Plus: instant tap feedback, smarter link detection, drag and drop fixes around collapsed sections, more accurate sync status, and a refreshed Settings screen.

This update improves sync reliability:
- Fixed: photos and files could appear as empty placeholders on your other devices after syncing;
- Improved reliability when importing from Unit Cloud;

2.4.1 7月9日 Collapsible Headings & a More Refined App
A better way to work with structured and long pages, refreshed audio notes and web bookmarks, and smarter search:
- Collapsible Headings - Tap any heading to fold the section beneath it, so long pages stay tidy and easy to navigate;
- Refined Audio Notes - Voice recordings now show a waveform with playback times and the recording date, making them easier to scan and play back;
- Refined Web Bookmarks - Saved links now appear as a full preview with the site's favicon, so they're easy to recognize at a glance;
- Smarter Search - Filter results by type and search across every kind of content;
- Last Edited - The page menu now shows when a page was last edited;
- Bug fixes and improvements.
2.4 6月16日 iCloud Sync & Lifetime Plan
This release completes Unit's move from our Unit Cloud servers to iCloud sync - your notes now live entirely on your device and in your private iCloud, never touching our infrastructure. The legacy Unit Cloud will remain available for a limited time so you can import existing data, then it will be retired.
This update includes:
- iCloud Sync - Your notes now sync seamlessly across all your Apple devices through iCloud. Open Unit on iPhone or iPad and pick up exactly where you left off;
- Lifetime Plan - Pay once, own Unit Plus forever. A new pricing option alongside Monthly and Annual subscriptions;
- Automatic Backups - Unit now automatically saves recent copies of all your notes and files right on your device, so you can roll back to an earlier version any time from the new Backups section in Settings. Completely free;
- Import from Unit Cloud - If you used the previous version of Unit, you can now bring your existing data from Unit Cloud onto your device and into your iCloud in one tap;
- Subscription recovery - We had an issue in previous version where some Plus purchases weren't being recognized in the app. This is now fixed - Unit Plus is detected automatically from your Apple ID on first launch, no action needed on your part;
- App Lock - now free - Protect Unit with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode using iOS 26's built-in app lock. Settings shows you how to enable it in a couple of taps;
- Faster Share Extension - Sharing notes into Unit from other apps is now quicker and more reliable. Pick your destination unit right inside the share sheet without leaving the app you're sharing from;
- Minor improvements and bug fixes throughout the app.
